Contact Loan Resolution Services.
When you contact Loan Resolution Services, you will speak with a knowledgeable representative who will ask you some detailed questions to learn more about your specific situation.
• Collect your personal information. During your initial phone conversation, we will give you a list of items that you'll need to provide. These
documents enable our underwriting staff to conduct a comprehensive financial analysis, and determine whether or not you can achieve a loan
modification.
• Plan for payment. You will also be asked to provide debit or credit card information. Please note that we will NOT process any payment until
we have completed our pre-approval process and determined that you are a candidate for our service. The reason we request payment
information up front is to expedite the process of preparing your package and entering negotiations with your lender once you've passed our
pre-approval process.
Provide LRS with your documents and payment.
You have several options for providing us with your information:
• Fax or email to our office.
• We will send a courier service to pick up at your location.
• Bring it in to our office.
If you choose to use our courier service, please allow 72 hours for your file to be turned in to the Loan Resolution Services Underwriting Department.
What happens during the pre-approval process.
We will conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of your file to determine if we can help you obtain a loan modification.
What happens if your file is approved.
You will receive a call from us advising you that your file has been approved by our Underwriting Department, and your payment will be processed. Once your payment is verified as "cleared", we will complete the packaging and begin the negotiation process with your lender. This entire process typically takes several weeks to complete.
What happens if your file is declined.
This means that, after careful review, analysis and consideration, we believe you do not have a 90% or better chance of being approved for a loan modification. You will receive a call from us advising you that your file is declined, and your credit card authorization will be returned unless you instruct us otherwise. We will advise you of the percentage of chance we believe you do have and, if you agree to proceed on that basis (you want to try no matter what), we will discuss your available options.
